Default Good muffler to use with the STS turbo kit

Does anyone know a good, compact, small, muffler to use with the STS turbo kits on the NBS Tahoes?

I just want to hear the sound of the turbo loud, but not necessarily the exhaust grumble. Any suggestions?

If you keep your cats, it probably isn't too loud (wasn't on my truck -- sounded like an aftermarket exhaust kit). With the cats off, I needed a muffler --

Check out a flowmaster series 10 race muffler -- 4 x 10 x 14

1 chamber flowmaster or a bullet.

Like Erik sais, if you are running cats and using a base kit turbo I would run without a muffler. It's not very loud like that.

With a larger turbo and no cats a muffler is almost a MUST! I have a Magnaflow muffler after my turbo and I don't notice any loss in power but I loss almost all of the spool up noise from the turbo and it ends up sounding like my truck did N/A

I tried using a 1 chamber Flowmaster (pretty small muffler) and it sounded a lil better and you could hear more of the whistle but the drone on the highway sucked and I defiantely felt a power loss. I had the shop call Flowmaster and they said they dont have anything called a series 10 so I just got the 1 chamber. If there is such thing as a series 10 from Flowmaster could you please show me so I can rip into this muffler shop and make them swap mine out or something.

Ohh Erik, I think the reason you hear more whistle than me at part throttle is because of your larger motor spooling up the turbo faster.

BTW, what's up with your truck bro? I have not seen you online much. I hope all is well.
