Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll cross those GTII's off my list.

Good idea, I know a late response, but I will not buy these again. Also they are prone to bouncing like a basketball when they are first cold like in the morning in winter. During spring and summer, they ride real nice.

I though they were scary as hell in the rain, my truck feels completely unstable, and I can spin these on the freeway when already doing 70mph. Ouch, scary.

I wore my first set of them out and when I went to buy some more 20 inch tires this year I said I would not buy another set of them. I had horrible wet traction and like someone stated they bounced like a damn basketball when cold. I didn't get many miles out of mine also. I went with the Falken st/z 04 in a 275/45/20 for 679 dollars mounted and balanced. They put the goodyears to shame and i only paid a few extra dollars to what the goodyears would have cost me.

I think the only reason people get GTII's other then price is for the fact that if you go to Tirerack or any other vendor for tires, that is the onle "recommended" size when you go to a 20" wheel. But if you can go to a wider aspect ratio, then there should be more choices for you, but risk your speedo being off a tad.

I cant really use any larger size due to fitment, speedo is easily corrected with an HPP3. If I could run 285/40 I would, but I don't think it'll fit.

Ive had em for about 10k miles and theyre not bad, traction is not to good but I have 20's with 275/45's, no hydroplaning so far, overall not bad and I just dont have the power to have serious traction problems all the time. I dont have any experience with any other tires with the 20's tho, so I'm not alot of help.

I hydroplaned with those and totalled my truck agains some trees in Carthage................
