nitrous kit=$400 90 bottles of nitrous $3600..ill tell you what..thats alot of fun for 4 grand where you havent even gotten started on a supercharger or turbo kit.. by the way if you was to run a turboed or supercharger truck as much as i have and as hard i i did..that 5.3 would have blown up too.. my 5.3 with 224 cam 4.10s and 150 shot beet a sts turbo'd 5.3..my buddy's EXTENDED CAB truck with a puney 4.8 with comp 212 218 cam and 100 shot with stock converter and 3.42 gears walked away from a single cab radix 5.3 with 3.73 gears..so far whats the fastes LSX style truck??

Nitrous can be a great mod, but personally I would rather have an STS. Those turboed trucks can put down some crazy power...

you got that right!! but put out the dough$$$$$

another thing about nitrous is that you have different trucks in 1..you can run with or with out nitrous.. but you can do the same thing with a a boost contoller...yes if i had the money to fork out I'd definantly go twin turbo'd

and just think how much faster you can be with 150 shot..just hook it up and see how you like it..just take a few hours to hook up...if you dont like it. take it off

Sorry, I disagree with you...

400 + 3600 = 4000 bucks, you can find a nice used supercharger system or even a used STS for that matter and make the same power or more, and keep on going after the 90 bottles are empty. I read about alot of trucks making good power with FI, Nitrous is just not my bag baby.

what ever floats your boat baby..by the time i got to 4000 bucks i already had a blast and walked away from supercharged and turbo trucks, ls1 camaros and firebirds, nitrous mustangs in a big as ****** truck..there was guy a just a week ago that blew up his supercharged 6.0 ask him how many miles he had on his seto up and ask him how his daily drivin was..like i said if i had the money id go twin turbo'd, for me its a lot easier for the money i make buying a bottle a time..instead of saving up for a year for 5-6 grand for a decent turbo kit and the accessories...and by the way where i work at i get nitrous half off..really not to tell any one..so cut that 3600 in half..i was just saying what it would be for every one else.. here i should just say it in another way for the cheepest horsepower in nitrous..nitrous you can add an extra 100 horse for 400 bucks with a nitrous kit..in another way your spending several thousand bucks..
