Wanted to thank you, 03chevyroyce...

After hearing your video, I changed up my exhaust one last time...

I have longtubes, ORY, and whatever the loudest Flowmaster muffler is in my custom 1 into 2 catback. With the headers added, it was too loud, WAY too raspy, and had that horrible drone in the cab. Had to crack the windows on long highway drives, lol.

Cut a section of the 3" I pipe and clamped in a Summit Bullet/glasspack muffler, which helped out a lot, but not 100%.

After hearing your vid, I went ahead and ordered a Hooker AeroChamber with same length and inlet/outlet locations as the Bullet. Clamped it in today and it is perfect! Zero drone, zero rasp, quiet when cruising, plenty loud enough when WOT or accelerating under a decent load...

Thanks.

Seriously considering this muffler to match with my LT's and ory. this or dynomax. i cant afford 100+ for a magnaflow.

It sounds good, you wouldn't regret using one of these mufflers. I haven't heard one dumped, but with a tailpipe they sound amazing.

mine will be dumped before the axle for now. It will be replacing a cherry bomb extreme which has a 6" case. So should tone out all the rasp.

Also considering the hooker maximum flow since it seems to flow a little better.

I put one on 3" all the way from the headers and Y I have 0 rasp but a very deep sound and can hear the cam hit good...I do have a pretty good drone around 17-18rpm but it doesnt bother me ...heck its a mix hot rod D.D.not an escalade ...i do like it its not near as load as flowcraper or raspy ...i just hope Iam not to small with my set up...i do have the tail pipe behind the rear coming out the side though
