gen IV, pump are pretty decent.

i would invest in head work, instead of the extra items ..

Get Ls2 wedge for the timing chain instead of stocker and depending on miles on truck I wouldn't worry about oil pump but do need O-ring for pickup tube! From experience get the ARP head bolts! If you plan on decking heads then get 7.4 pushrods.

I have a L76 6.0l with a 222-230dur / 596-600lift / 112lsa cam. Of course it's always safer to get new pumps and gaskets but I reused my h2o pump gaskets. I actually reused everything but O-ring and head gaskets of course! But did change my oil pump to a new stocker cause of 78k milage. And yes oil pan will have to be lowered in the front. I sacrificed a 10mm wrench with heat and bent it to work so I didn't have to remove any of the bolts from half pan back! I also didn't remove radiator, just pushed aside.

The head and water pump gaskets shouldn't be reused, the oil pan needs to be drop about an inch to get access to the nut holding the pickup tube to the oil pump. You can save about $50 by getting GM head bolts instead of ARP , also you will need a new crank bolt . Why don't you do the work yourself? It's not hard just time consuming , I did mines without any previous experience , do a lot of research in here and other LS forums , I recommend a book that shows you everything about LS engines (How to build and modify GM Ls-Series Engies) by Joseph Potak, around $20 on amazon.

if you deck the heads then you cannot use 7.4 pushrods as they are for stock gaskets and stock heads. with a thinner head gasket or milled heads you need shorter pushrods
