got the cam spec'ed from Pat G , need your help

Don't gen IV engines come with ls2 timing chain?

i thought anything after like 05 had a ls2 chain? i remember a thread awhile back about this.....

Yeah something about the LS7 lifter needing more preload or some bs im not for certain on it.

Im running a stock chain on my 5.3 and 6.2 i just swapped to the LS2 wedge vs the pos tensioner GM puts. 6800 with the 6.2 MANY times with no issues

the chain is the same as the one on my truck the new one is for ~50$

SO do you recomend changing the gear to a 3 bolt cam gear

what part number?

dampner? iknow the part number . change or not
arp head and cam bolt numbers please

SDPC and TexasSpeed is where I got the best deals on my parts,check their sites and see who has the cheapest price, most vendors are too busy to return emails ,if you find what you need at the price you like order online ,they ship fast I got everything in 3-4 days (except cam ,came from Geoff) using the cheapest shipping offered.
