Got DMH cutout installed!
...well partially. I only had the cutout welded in so far. I haven't installed the electric plate/wiring yet. Anyways, my 6.0 now sounds like a proper 6.0 This could be real bad for my gas mileage though driving around in 2nd gear 3000 rpm It does feel like I lost a tad down low though....havent gone wot yet.

Yeah, I'll get some video later tonight. Honestly, it's not as loud as some cutouts I've heard on this sight but I think that's because I'm running stock exhaust piping.
I was also wondering about the paper gasket that came with the kit. When I removed the block off plate it looked like the gasket was already starting to disintegrate?

the gasket will be fine, once it gets heated properly.
mine takes 3 seconds to open, and 3 to close. i love it. sounds nasty opened up, gained 21 rwhp from opening it on the dyno... but i do get worse gas mileage with it open for some reason. it plays with your fuel trims when its opened, unless your motor is stock, then it will idle fine with it open.
