Got a hell of a price on a rebuild
My machine Shop that has built my motors for the last couple of years cut me a hell of a deal on a rebuild for the truck. $450 They said they would do a valve job, grind the crank, bore w/ torque plate, deck the block , mill the heads, file fit the rings, and put the bitch together for that. I thought That sound pretty damn good and asked them why they would so cheap and then they showed my what I have spent over the years there. Then I thought they should do the whole damn thing for free. A bit of advice to any person wanting to get into roundy round cars, DONT. You will pop motors no matter how good they are. The damn sport will also nickel and dime you to death. I could have a brand new truck fully paid for, for what i have spent on just damn motors. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Well I think no other people on this site are as gay as you, So you don't have to worry about it...That rebuild is useless if you do not put good pistons and rods, and then the rebuild will not be 450

H-beams are stronger, and new technology, I beams are normally good to about 600, where h-beams can be good to 1100 plus
