I did an ls6 professional products on mine . I used the dingo pump spacers and idler relocation bracket worked real good but I used a camaro tensioner because the trucks pulleys are spaced out 3 inches the corvette 3/4 and the camaro 1.5 the dingo spacers are also 1.5 but mine is a 2010 dont know if yours is diferent. i also ditched the evap purge. Im in the process of putting the fast truck intake see how that goes. Your right by the time you finish its about 400 or 600 dollars If I would of known i would have done the truck intake instead of the ls6. good luck with your project.

Yeah I have a Katech solid tensioner that is meant for an f-body/gto/c5/ etc. The bolts from my truck tensioner were a little long though so I might just cut them down... just visual stuff I'll go about dialing in later.

I'm really curious what you did with your truck wiring harness and how you routed that?

Oh and what exactly did you do to ditch the EVAP thing??? I'd love to figure out if I can go without that before I drill a hole for it.
Can I go without that with a return style fuel system???

You can take that plastic bracket that bolts to the top of the intake out of your harness and then just kinda move the harness to go around the back of the engine. Just make sure your sensors are unplugged and then move the harness around the engine and then plug all your sensors back in. I ended up relooming some stuff to make it cleaner but didnt extend any wires.

This is the stock harness without any modifications. I think I still had even the black bracket in this pic

Heres how mine looks with the car intake. I think all I reloomed was my injector wires and IAT sensor since I changed the pigtails on them

Cool thanks for the reference photos. I'll see what I can do to reroute and reloom to the side.
I see it appears you ditched that EVAP thing on the front of your intake too... what did you do with that? Do I have to hook that up?

I have a fuel cell so I just vent it to atmosphere. I've read some people run a piece of hose from the canister to a fitting on the intake and that would work as well.

Does your evap not fit into the spot on top of the fast intake?

Well I'll have to drill an opening for it on the top shell of the Fast and it'll look goofy where it's supposed to go.....

You think I could just pop that thing off and vent to atmosphere? Or does the return style system need that to read vacuum to function or something?

It shouldnt affect the fuel pressure regulator. You would just need to delete the evap codes in the tune.

Actually looks better than I was expecting, so I'm stoked. Just wanted an unaltered look so nobody's eye is drawn to it and they see it was hacked.
