Got my dyno-tuning-41hp Gain!
I went down to Futral yesterday. Allen started off by porting & polishing my throttle body, descreening my stock MAF, then he installed my billet servo. Then, he did a minor tune on my truck for drivability. It took a few times to tweak everything out. Then we strapped it on the dyno. The first run w/ the stock tune didn't give a good reading at all, the numbers were jumping all over the graph. Allen checked it with the diagnostic scanner and found out something was wrong with the #8 cylinder (the one that the plug wire wasn't really hooked to). Come to find out, it was a cracked spark plug. He put a new one in. We tried it again w/ the STOCK tuning, 229hp/284tq. (The torque curve bottomed out real fast) Well, Allen hooked the computer up to it for a few minutes. Right after that it dynoed at 270hp/290tq! A nice hp & tq curve! They dynoed it a few more times and tried more tuning and got +/- .3-6 hp/tq.
All these runs were made in 2nd gear. They tried 3rd one time after the 270/290 pull, and the tire speed maxed out. It did show like 10 more down low. My new tires and low gear ratio had a lot to do with that, I think.
Needless to say, I am very pleased with my results! Allen Futral knows his stuff! My truck feels so much stronger/faster, the shifts are awesome, and my normal driving is awesome as well, no more drivability issues.
Seriously, if you want a bad-*** dyno tune, give Allen a call at 1-877-78-43278.

I'm not really sure what he did, I think he tweaked alittle bit of everything. I know he got the air/fuel ratio right where it needs to be (whatever the ratio is, don't have any charts except the final one w/ hp & tq). He'll probably keep the tuning a secret.
Yeah, they used an air/fuel sensor that goes in the end of the exhaust pipe. Oh yeah, I still have the stock posi w/ 3.42s. Plan on getting an eaton w/ 3.90s. Allen recommended that I get higher gears and smaller tires. Any more ?s, I'd be glad to help, if I know the answer.
