ive been wanting to run these headers, but just like my pacesetters they have the damn o2 sensor bung on the drivers side facing straight up. thats a dumb design and one of the reasons i hate my pacesetters. why dont they take them out the side towards the tranny(theres plenty of room)? also i need to know how to get these headers other than direct from LPP. speed eng was carrying them now they have disappeared from their website. keep us informed as to how these bad boys fit please(post pics if possible). subscribed...

If the O2 bungs were to face the trans they may contact the front driveshaft for the 4wd guys. Is it being on top such a big deal, how often are you swapping sensors?

speed eng never really carried them, when you order through speed eng they would send the orders to lpp and he would ship them. It was taking almost a whoile week before they would even ship. I am sure spend eng got tired of the guy not being willing to allow them to stock his headers so dropped him all together. JUst wondering what is wrong with order them from lpp? faster shipping, but you paid about 23 more dollars for them

Man, one thing that annoys me much right now is how I keep seeing posts of people who installed these headers and decided to keep the stock bolts over the bolts that came with the headers themselves. Do people really have such little faith in the bolts the headers came with?? Have people not read the nightmares of the stock bolts? They are prone to pop out more often than Nadya Suleman pops kids out.

Has anyone actually installed these bolts and had problems so far? My problem is that I live in Toronto, a city full of Yuppies where customizing your car is too "dirty" and might as well just buy something more expensive and unaffordable, so there are no shops that carry aftermarket bolts, only stock. I decided to go with these QUALITY headers expecting to be able to not have to worry about needing different bolts. I thought they'd be considered great bolts considering the price you pay for the headers.

But of course, I am rough on my vehicles, and do NOT want junk. I don't care about looks, as long as it's durable. So can anyone let me know if they've tried these bolts yet and what was the result so far?
Any info would be great!

And yes, I will post pics when the time comes next week.

Thanks again!

Ok, good! May I ask where you got the bolts from by the way? I'm assuming you didnt just stop by some hardware store.

well to tell you the truth your best bet would be a hardware store or auto parts store. Im not sure what type of either you guys have but Auto Zone had what I needed. Also M&D supply has a ton of bolts
