thats a good ?
I dont think theyd make more power than the thorleys togs asms
or the dynomax
or if they did it wouldnt be much
I dont think these will work well for someone who has to keep
their cats

I wander how well these would fit on a 67-72 pickup

Thorleys are only 1 5/8 inch and not a true long tube.(tri Y) ASM's, TOG's, and Dynatech all only have 2 1/2 inch collectors, which wont make too much of a difference untill high hp #'s or forced induction. Now I am sure the fit and finish are better on the ASM, TOG, and Dynatech but the finish on the Pacesetters are not bad at all, and I will let you all know about the fit.

I plan on getting some video of the pulls also.
This is EXACTLY why I wanna sell my TOG's and step up to these. I think the TOG's are 1 5/8 primaries too. I'm at the level where better headers would help me out. These are a big set of headers no doubt. They will not bolt right up to the existing Y-pipe without extensive modification or repolacing it all together. TOG's will. Without seeing these or any other headers, I feel more than confidant in saying that the TOG's will stand 2nd to NONE in build quality. They are absolutely outstanding headers. They only have 2 1/2 inch collectors though and smaller primaries, which is the only drawback for me. For a bolt on motor, they would be ideal, but for higher HP setup's, there's room for improvement.

Tib, PM me.

Default Gotta wait

Gotta wait till tues. for the base pull #'s. So I will be installing the headers that night and the x-pipe is getting done weds. afternoon and dyno'ed right after the install. I will take some pictures of the install and let everyone know how easy they go in.

I hope the before and after #'s are good. I belive I will see about a 2 psi drop in boost, opening the exhaust up this much. I guess that is what they make smaller pulleys for.

Are you running stock manifolds now? I dunno if you will see THAT much of a drop in boost, even if you are.

That sucks, I was really hopeing these would work. What is the biggest problem when running headers on the 4wds? I could see that maybe the diff would be it the way, and if thats the problem then I sould be able to run them right? Since my front diff is dropped 10" from the lift I technically should have room to clear them?

There is a lot more extra junk down there on 4wd models.

2000, you might be right ... only one way to find out.

I would think AWD would be the same as 4WD
