This thing is HEAVY!!! Weighs a smidge over 50lbs. But it is nice. All powder coated black. All the connections and holes were covered with plastic caps.

Gets rid of the P.O.S. spider injection for the vortec motors. Has fuel rails on the outside of the manifold. Comes with 24lb. hr. injectors, fully brazed stainless fuel lines. The stocker has aluminum lower manifold and plastic upper, this marine manifold is cast iron bottom manifold with aluminum upper.

 

Damn, that looks pretty nice. I have been outta the 4.3 stuff for a LONG time. Who makes that?

Thats like a stock piece from 98up vortec right?i actually like the old cpi intakes,but if u gain more power from this one,do it!!do a cam as well,i had a 99's10 rcsb 4.3 5spd and i would kik alot of v8 azz in that.it was fun,i miss my s10

Get the TB ported by Shaner (S2peformance), he is right over there in arlington....

The vortec manifolds are crap. The spider injection leaks and goes bad, the injectors are aimed in every direction not straight into the cylinder. All the fuel line/injectors are inside the plenum, restricting air flow, and the poppet injectors cannot be replaced with any upgrades. This intake fixes all those issues. Now I can replace injectors with any size if I decide for boost or more cubes or what have you.

 

Never heard of him, I was interested in getting it ported when I replaced it tho.

 

I have one done by him. He installed a cam in my friends GTO and did the tuning for him. I've talked to him on the phone a few times, he is a real smart guy

 

this would fit on my 02 Blazer with the 4.3 right? whats the part # and where'd you get it from? i bet it'll help a bunch.
