Its pretty straight forward. Main things to change is drill some spots for EVAP/brake booster vacuum and coolant temp. sensor. The spots to drill are cast in the intake, just not drilled.
At least read this first page if not all of it, tells you what needs to be fixed.

Nah, it aint that bad, if I had the other parts I need, I would be outside doing the swap right now. The intake has only been here three hours, its already killing me not putting it on. It looks so damn good sitting here.

I did the Marine intake on my 5.7 in my Express. I noticed a thicker, longer torque curve. Nice difference, especially at higher rpms. I am not sure about the V6 manifold, but with the V8 manifold the EGR port is even there, you just have to use a remote mount valve like a Gen3 engine. I have everything installed and it runs great with no check engine lights.

Highly recommend Shaner for porting or tuning.

Yep, got it on and running. Its got about 1000-1500 miles on it. Seems to have plenty more midrange just cruising around and half throttle. Around 3500RPM's WOT it really starts pulling more than it used to. It definitely has more mid range and under the curve power.
