Yea, they did the super lean out modification with one of their trick mass air sensors. Lean is mean in Granatellis book.

Free HP stickers in the back of the mag? Nice! Seriously though it happened to me. Put on new MSD wires and the truck came alive. Oh yeah 2 wires weren't even plugged into the HEI on the old set(I hate Pep-Boys;if you want the job done right...)

When changing to the low resistence spark plug wires remember the PCM is looking for certain resistance (ohms) for each plug wire. You may gain a few extra HP at WOT (maybe 2-4) but you will have more problems at part throttle and decel. All the long term test I have seen shows the GM plug wires give the most complete results on stock and lightly modded H/C engines.
