Default Granatelli Predator Question

My friend will be installing a supercharger soon on his H2 and reprogrammed it to stock. He wants to sell the programmer but is not sure if he can. Will the Programmer work with another vehicle, or is the VIN permanently burned onto the programmer relegating it useless on any other vehicle?

It does marry the vin to the tuner. Yes you can send it back to them to undo it. I'm getting ready to send mine back. I believe it costs around $75.00 to have it done.

I might also be selling my Hypertech. Do I also have to send it back to reprogram?
