Which is not necessarily a good thing, BTW.

Stray EMF (electromagnetic interference) is more easily picked up by 0 ohm wires.

Thats why they have the little bands on the end of the wires.

plug wires dont pick up EMI (emf is electro motive force which is used in inductance) they create EMI. The shielding on plug wires is to supress this interferance so it doesnt mess up the sensor readings or mess with your radio reception. Low resistance wires create hotter spark which makes more complete burn. With our short plug wires there isnt much resistance to drop voltage. A 40kv coil across a 0.5 ohm wire will transfer a RCH under 40kv to the plug. A 950 ohm wire will only drop the voltage a few volts which means nothing when were talking about 40,000 volts.

Aftermarket plug wires are a good thing when were talking about a old school SB or BB where some wires are 18" long while others are over 36" long. When were talking in the 6k ohm range there is a more significant voltage drop and weaker spark, especially when some of the old coils were 20-30kv.

Guys as far as I have researched, the Crane wires have the least resistance of them all. But if a Granatelli can get 35 horsepower.....I'd kiss and as...and give you 2 weeks to get a crowd together to watch me!
