Default gt2/3 or gt7? what to go with

i got a radixed lq9 and need to do the cam and heads. i want to hit mid 12s. what cam do i need? which is better. has anyone used the gt7? the gt2/3 is proven but what are your guys experiences with other blower cams? thanks for any input?

a couple of guys here run the GT7 very sucessfully, Kysilverado come to mind as one of the fastest ecsb's in the 11's. The GT2-3 is the most popular cam on this site, I run it and make low 12. There are other cams that work well also.

what do these cams run like? i want ok idle and part throttle but when i stomp on it i want to know whats going on. haha. more of a weekend truck than dd now. but still want dd like properties if you know what i mean. i already get 10mpg in the city so i dont really care if it gets worse.

the LPE cams have a very wide lsa and will idle as good if not better than stock.
