Default Guys idle a little high after swap. Tell me if this sounds right.

Mechanic cranked the truck today. Exhaust work isn't done yet, so it's open lt headers right this second. Jim told me idle is around 1000rpms, which I know is a little high. It was also pretty cold today. The mechanic says the idle will probably go down when the exhaust system is installed. I also think it will go down with some warmer weather. Will my idle drop when the exhaust system is installed tomorrow? Thanks

Jeremy

Anybody? Should I be worried? I really want the rpms down so the cam will make a little noise at idle
