I removed all of it at 31xxx KM Now I have 82xxx KM.
Installed the 6.0L at 48xxx KM.
The only thing I did is more line pressure and a corvette servo. It's still alive.
But now,I have the TVS 1900 on top of the 6.0L. I'm sure that will help the tranny.lol....Shifts still good, but I noticed the 1-2 shift needs some more work now.So I'm taking it easy for now.
After the holidays,I'll do a shift kit in to see how long it will stay together.....

The heavier or more powerful your truck is, the more important torque management during shifts. TM was a brilliant idea of GM engineers so the company could save money by using cheaper parts in their transmissions. And from my experience they do not even hold up in completely stock applications.

Shift TM does not cause a lag when you mash the go pedal. That would be Abuse Management/Mode or Brake Torque Management(if one foot is on the brake) kicking in. On a stock trans I would leave in some Shift Torque Reduction. Not that I am an expert, just my .02.

I'll be doing a tune soon after I get the CAI, long tubes and exhaust done.
Hey, weren't you just complaining a week ago your truck had no power and was a gas *****? Now it can blister the tires in 3 gears? My 6.0L truck won't even blister the tires in 2 gears.....

I've never seen a problem in friends or families trucks I've tuned taking 100% TM out on their stock vehicles. Even my brothers 05 Impala has lived 80K with the TM off. If you don't drive like an ******* you'll be fine

The life of your transmission is directly related to your right foot. Period.

I've got a TT2600 and somewhat built the tranny - HD2 shift kit with FLT mods, hardened separator plate, billet servos, aluminum accumulators, Beast sunshell, wide 3-4 band, and premium Alto frictions.
Will the Nelson tune allow me to split it up 80/100 between normal and tow/haul mode?

Yes, he can set it up like that if you want. That's why I recommended you discuss your plans with him as he can give you his suggestions based on a ton of experience with tuning for trucks.
