Ever since my trans and converter swap, I can smoke the tires from a 30-35mph roll, and you can see how mild my setup is...first time I found out was on my way to work and totally an accident. Walked into work with a big smile on my face...and pounding my chest BTW, I got installed a BlackBear tuned PCM at the same time as the trans swap

Not to hijack the thread, but what breaks first in the trans if you have a heavy foot and no TM? I just had my trans built at 232,000 miles bc the sun shell broke one day. Trans shop said it shouldn't have lasted that long. It now has a "Beast" shell.

the sun shell is the weakest part in a 4L60e it can break at any given time, even in a new truck right off the dealers lot, so ive been told by many tranny builders

Can you pull TM on the new 6 speeds and not have to worry to much about grenading them in the course of normal daily driving and lead footing it here and there.

motor side, pull it all. well, i did, but thats just me. trans side. this is a tricky equation to dance around. the most i pulled was 70% out. there are a few tables in there that is you shut one off, you will have to work the shift and pressure tables a lot to get it to act the same.
