Personally, I think a cleaned up & painted cover looks alot better than no cover, or one of these smoothed & painted manifolds without covers. But, to each his own I guess.

IDK about that. While I see many struggling to make ends meet, I also see many doing well for themselves. I'd say Alaska is definately in the top 10 states, as far as economy/unemployment goes. There are far worse places to try to make a decent living.

However, I'd never argue moving to be closer to family.
