has anyone found a cost effective way to swap to an LS6 intake?

Okay, I want to use the truck injectors on my 99' that's gonna have a 382 before long and was wanting to do the LS6 intake swap. Besides that speartech bracket and intake, what is there to buy? Also, would the SSR intake produce the same results as the LS6?
I'm kinda thinking screw it and use the stock truck intake, but I know that with the extra cubic inches, it would probably benefit greatly from a LS6 intake. Just seems like a lot of damn work. Sucks that a sponser or somebody doesn't make the parts for it, if it's not that hard.
TigerFan187, how do you like the torquer 2? Did you loose that much low-end? Bet it pulls hard as hell! I'll be running the F-13 (230/232-.595/.585-114+4) in the 382 along with some patriot stage II 5.3 heads. Torque should be nice!

I'm thinking the Performer RPM would be a nice choice. I think the intake with fuel rails is like $400 from Summit, and the elbow's are $200 from intakeelbows.com. I think Aaron has one (elbow) on Ebay now for like $150. I've heard the chance for #7 going lean with these intakes is virtually eliminated.

www.intakeelbows.com has the bungs as well. Also, the Victor is a great intake for those with forged motors, and cams that make power in the upper rpm's. Just because it's rated from 3500-7500 doesn't mean it doesn't make power at all below that, it's just it's optimum operating range. I run a Victor Jr. carb. manifold on my Belair and I also ran one on my G-body, and neither one of those ever see/saw 7500rpm. Both cars have 3000 stall converters (10") and the Victor Jr. works great on those applications. I may be off on this one, but from what I've read the truck manifold pretty much "hangs" with the LS6...except in the upper rpm range.
FWIW, Brett who tuned my truck swapped out a Fast 90/90 for a Victor and elbow w/ fast 90 tb and picked up 30rwhp on his 408 WS6. For MY money it's the only way to fly. If you ever really went crazy (down the road) you could swap out the elbow for a larger one and run the Accufab 105mm tb. It just has more room to "grow". My truck is my DD, so any of these is a longshot for me.

So any updates on the cheap alternatives? Im putting a 6.0 in a Malibu, and want a car style intake. Then I read about the SSR and cant find any pics? What does it look like? Any numbers?
