has anyone found a cost effective way to swap to an LS6 intake?

well its back, yes you can use the truck intake as long as you have elect. fans, if you get 10-15 hp you will lose it due to longer belt,
explanation: If you run the short belt with the asp pulley its going to be 55" long, when you swap out intakes the belt will be 65" long, this is if you by pass the alt. and power steering pump.
Now street wise its better then the truck intake, I did the swap and lost 2/10's of a second at the track and I blame it on the belt length, is 10" really 2/10's maybe not but it was in my case only. the DA and temps were very close, times were a week apart.

I think the reason you were slower was the crappy Wieand intake. There's a reason no one runs them on f-bodies and vettes, they are worse than a LS1 intake, which is worse than the truck intake.

i had this conversion but used all fbody accesories. its the only way to go honestly. one the fbody pulley is actually smaller then the truck crank so its like a cheap underdrive. is it pricy to do thsi its all up to how you locate the parts
im still fbody accessories for my 408 but im using a 90/L76 setup
