Default Has anyone ran the MSD Coil Packs????

I've looked and looked and have found no proof that these add anything but good looks. Has anyone ran these, and if so what were the gains? i'd like to see a before and after dyno if possible

You will not gain anything from putting MSD coil packs on. You are better off getting a throttle body spacer. Even if they were 10 buck a piece I wouldnt buy them. If you are already getting a spark to the cylinder, a "bigger" or "hotter" or "longer" spark will do you no good.

In case you didn't know, this was sarcasm.

Spacer, coils, MAF, etc are a waste of money, most of us here have tried something that didn't do as advertised. Learn from others

gUYS IT'S LIKE THIS....A COIL (NO MATTER WHO MAKES IT) IS NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU A GAIN IN HORSEPOWER. A SPACER WON'T, A BIGGER ALTERNATOR WON'T NO OF THAT TYPE OF **** WILL.

I'm aware of all that , but i'm thinking more along the lines of big injectors, fuel pump, rails. If you're dumping fuel, are these going to help (significantly) the combustion process. I know this is what tuning is for . And i'm not thinking horsepower gains, but maybe quicker response?

Oh and don't worry I'm not thinking of buying these, just curious.

hey bro theyre playin with you... loosen up... if we thought you were a retard you would know it.... relax.... if we dont **** with you we dont like you..... but no they wont necessarily help unless your cylinder pressure is so high you are misfiring and need higher output coils.... but on a motor thats running fine there will be no increase
