Default Having problem with TC lockup not engaging!

When the truck warms up after driving it for 15-25 minutes it will at times not go into TC lockup after the 4th gear upshift on level ground...even with letting out the gas or tapping the brake pedal.

When it is working correctly tapping the brake pedal will kick the tc out as well as letting off the gas.

Has the orginal pressure manifold and TC selinoid and wiring in the trans...I went and purchased these to install but my tranny man seems to think it is in the PCM programing? So I have not installed these as yet.

It used to do this with the old 350 engine but only once in a while on the freeway...not everyday like it does now.

My scanner says TC is being forced off when it happens with no feedback. Trans temp is over 150 degrees and does not drop off.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as it is really bugging me!

No engine misfires detected on scanner at cruise speeds....it seems to be temp related as it works fine for the first 10-20 miles...I drive from Hemet to Moreno Valley 24 miles and it seems to always act up in the last 4-5 miles or so....I may have to send Ed Wright an email on this.
