hayden 679 tranny cooler help asap

Default hayden 679 tranny cooler help asap

hey guys i need some help i got a hayden 679 tranny cooler and it is the biggest one they had will this work for my truck with a 4000 stall matt said it might be too big so what is your opinon also where do i hook it up to i know i need the 390 adapter kit is that all i need?

Do you have a factory trans cooler? If so, you can just run the factory cooler to the Hayden, then back to the tranny. That is how mine is setup. There is not a trans cooler too big...the cooler it is...the longer it will last.

yea what is he talking about too big. if it is a little big then just add like half a qaurt of transmission fluid but i dont think you will have to.
