Header Wrap in states that use salt???
Any body have experience with this? I have a pile of parts to install on my truck and was considering wrapping my longtubes. But I am worried about the salt on the roads staying in/on the wrap.... Anybody have this issue? This is my daily.....And they are the cheapy Texas Speed Long Tubes....

They will hold it and rust it.
When I was in the GM 3800 scene, the 304 stainless headers that you could buy didnt work well with wrap and salt. I left mine unwrapped for nearly 3 years and they held up just fine. My car was even lowered and the downpipe would drag in the snow. Of course they didnt stay shiney for more than a winter but I didnt care because the pipe was under the car.

If they are stainless, dont even concern yourself with salt on the wrap.
Wrap those things up, just be sure to use stainless clamps.
Non stainless clamps will rust off long before the wrap will rot.
If your concerned, after wrapping them, Paint them with VHT 2k and seal them.
