Default Headers???

I have a blown 02 ext cab kennebell with MTI tune and need info on headers. I am running Gibson super truck exhaust and 3.42 with G80. I am considering a set of headers. What I would like to know is either the dyno numbers or the track times befor and after the install and which hiflow cat you are running. Any help you can give would be great. I am running mid 14's and am trying to get down in to the 13's. I am not considering a new cam or heads or NoS.

I just replaced my paceshitter headers for a set of titanium coated TOG headers. Fit and seems good, (except you have to modify your dipstick bracket to clear the headers.) I haven't got the exhaust welded up so I don't have any power feedback yet. Most people on here like the TOG headers (and they will fit in front of your factory cats if you wanted to) The coating on them IMO is ****, it scratches easily and looks like gray primer. I may remove mine and send them to get coated one of these days.

Ive got the Thorleys and they made a HUGE SOTP difference on my supercharged Tahoe. Unfortunately this will be one of several changes when I get back to the dyno.

I switched from Gibson shorties to ASM long tubes. Made a big difference from bottom end to top end.

Don't have any #s. I've got the old side mount magnacharger on my truck. When I switched from short to long tubes there was a significant difference thru entire rpm range. You will notice a nice SOTP improvement with long tubes. Especially if you have stock exhaust manifolds now.

I doubt you will find dyno sheets just for headers. Most here that dyno for mods go much further and do more in the way of mods before retuning (on the dyno). The owner of the shop with the dyno I go to said he usually sees less than 5 rwhp from shorties and 20 and up from good long tubes, more on supercharged apps.
Definately get some long tubes.

Great thats what i'm looking for what brand longtube do you recomend? When people get headers do they post a new track time or is it not significate? I am on the verge of ordering and would like just a little more input.

Every 10 hp equates into roughly 1/10 sec. drop in 1/4 mi time.
