It is a waste of money to dyno after every little mod. Kinda dumb if you ask me. Most guys say shorties are a joke and to definately go long tubes. I put shorties on the truck and noticed little to no difference, we shall see how the long tubes work out. (I guess technically they are mid-length, but are supposedly only an inch shorter than ASM)

Kinda dumb? If I drop $500 or more on a mod I want to know what I gained if anything. I could see not doing a dyno if you are talking about one of these so called " free mods" because you probably don't gain anything any way. $500 is a little much to spend on 5hp and I want some proven numbers because the old " I could feel it" doesn't work for me.

To put your mind at ease, headers almost always help on a supercharged motor. The gains you'll see are typically MUCH higher than what you would attain on an N/A motor simple because blowers really like the extra exhaust flow.

Long tubes tend to give the best benifits. Find a set that is in your price range and have a good rep around here and go for it. IMO shorties are usually a waste unless you absolutely have to stay smog legal and don't wanna swap back and forth.

My choice is the AS&Ms if you can get a used set or on a GP. That would put you under $700 before shipping. Only issue with LTs is you have to modify your stock Y-pipe to fit them. Other than that they are great. If Hooker makes a set for our trucks that might be a good way to go also since lots of F-body guys use them with good results.

I have been wondering...what has to be done to accomodate the LTs...can you not weld up a new flange right before the stock cats?
