Default headers on ebay

will these headers fit a 5.3 i didn't think that 5.3 and 6.0 headers were different?

yes and no.

the difference is that the y-pipe on the 4.8L & 5.3L is two separate pipes on the 6.0L. It won't mate to a stock style catback. The 6.0L has a dual inlet single outlet muffler from the factory.

would it be worth it to try to get it and just reconfigure the exhaust

I got the headers, guess ill see how well they work, should i get MSD wires for it, with insulation boots, thats what i see everyone else uses.

You can get insulation for whatever wires you have. As far as I know you have to buy the insulation separate. The MSD wires are ok but they aren't anything special. If you already have good wires you don't need them. It is nice to have one wire that is a little longer to get around that hump though.

I got the stock wires with those sheilds on them, what wires are you running
