I would say get a set of either stock or ported 799/243's if you are going to be sticking to a bore of 3.898 to 3.905 (that's LS1 standard to max overbore size.) Don't have the heads milled and you should be alright with the compression ratio, you can decide that with your piston selection since you are doing a forged bottom end.

The combustion chamber and valve size on these heads are smaller (than on the 317's) leading to more valve to cylinder wall clearance and better flow into the cylinder. Now, I am not sure how much that matters in the equation with forced induction, but it would be advantageous to give West Coast Cylinder Heads a call, or drop them a pm on the matter if they don't get in on this thread.
