Well if you get a cam ground after you flow your heads, you'll have the best efficiency by having it matched to the flow.

Oh and if you think a 408 would get poor fuel economy...don't be getting a supercharger!

You must get some pretty good deals at those prices. Plan A will definitely make a lot more power and be more fun. I see it costing around $6200 though when all is said and done. Either way it will be a cool project!

im getting the radix kit for about $4,100.00 ( i know a guy who is a vendor and gets it at wholesale) and im getting just a short block and i'll be switching all my 5.3 stuff to the 6.0 block. tranny i got free from uncle, who wrecked his truck and sold the engine but not the trans. (i just have to install him a stereo system in his 69' buick GS.)

are all 6.0 lq4's? im not sure on what they are designated.

If you plan to get blown get an lq4 instead of the lq9 6.0

stupid question : whatys the difference between the lq4 and lq9? im thinking the heads? if so the engine im getting has no heads (short block) im gonna use my 5.3 heads.

The only difference between the lq4 and lq9 is the piston. Lq4 has a dished piston giving it it's lower CR, lq9 has a flat top. Everything else is the same.

how big is the dish in the lq4 pistons? I'm too lazy to look it up right now
