if its supposed to be for a camaro that weights in at 3700 and your truck weights in at 4500 then the 3600 stall becomes a 4000 stall. your truck wont move untill 3k rpms ahahahaa. good luck on the converter.

well its going to be very fast out of the hole if you get traction, DD you will lose about 3-4 mpg, it will get very hot in traffic, you will def. need a large tranny cooler to help keep temps down on the transmission, 01thunder has a 3500 stall converter in his and likes it, try it out and if you like it keep it, if not sell it to a camaro guy. Good luck on your quest.

Flash means, from a stop...you floor the gas...the engine will rev to 4000rpm before the TC will engage. Like dropping the clutch at 4000 rpm in a standard transmission. Traction will be hard to get.
The gears, I'm not sure about. 3.90 with that much stall in your TC...I dont think you'll ever get the tires to hook. You planning to but ET streets or something?

it will not fit any way the bell houseing is shorter on the f body than on the trucks
you will need to send it to them and get thicker pads where the verter bolts go

so your saying that my tci converter pn. 242937 will not work.
humm, kind of strange since i've put 6k mi on it with no problems.
now i do understand that a vette converter will not work with truck or f body applications.

that is a chance you are taking the bell houseing is a 1/2 shorter on a f body so yes it may work but it is not in the front pump like it should be now yes you can put washers but be careful that you don't put to many.
unless you changed your bell houseing

i wish i could get some pic up to show you i don't have any f body trans right now i will have 2 of them this week and i will try and get some pic up to show you.
