Do you guys think that cam will have enough advance ground in it? The Tbss guys are telling me I need something +3 or +4 die to the weight and low end torque we need.

I would have thought for a truck it would come back as a +3 or +4, but who the hell am I to question a guy like Geoff.

Where did he say he expected the shift points to be?

We are going to put it on the dyno and work all the trans issues out.

Don't know how much power but I'm hoping for 4xx tq 4xx hp my mods are

Yank ss3600
Performabuilt lev2 60e
4.10s true trac
1 3/4 long tubes full exhaust 2.5 true duals x-pipe
Ls1 Efans
And I do plan on putting my Harris speed works nitrous kit hehe

I think you're talkin about power levels high enough to warrant a bigger exhaust than that. When you get this all bolted up I'm willing to bet a 1 7/8" header kit and dual 3 or single 3.5" exhaust would give you some decent gains. I see people running that set up with mods similar to yours and they all claim to have gained from it.

Sounds like you would be a perfect candidate for what calspeed has planned for this spring...

Do they headers make that much diff with these bolt ons?

Im running 1 7/8 on mine

yeah i def need to redo my exhaust and i plan on buying a set of those calspeed 1 7/8 headers my pacesetters are all rusty and i dont even drive my truck in the winter
