Cliffs......

I just finished a LQ4 with LS3 heads/L92 intake and 4l65 tranny swap. The motor and tranny I pulled were the original 4.8 engine and 4l60 tranny. The 6.0 and 4l60 had about 100K on them.

I started it up and everything is fine. My friend used EFIlive to program the PCM for the new motor.

Engine runs great.

The torque converter will not lock up. My friend can get it to manually lock up with EFIlive.

ABS light is on and the speedometer doesn't work.

The 4l65 transmission is out of a 2002 Escalade all wheel drive. My truck is a 2000 Silverado 1/2 ton 4x4.

I checked the speed sensor connection, blew it out with compressed air in case there was dirt in it. Took it for another drive around the block and the torque converter still won't lock up.

Anybody have any ideas??? Is the speed sensor different from the Escalade to the Silverado?

I believe the 65E is a little different
Try and get a stock program from an esclade and build off that.

It was just a couple of the speed sensors hookedup wrong on the transfer case. It works great now.
