Help me blow my truck up
Well the 99 ext cab sierra is getting a little tired and is sucking back the fuel Pretty good for a 4.8L
It's lost a considerable mount of power since new .I still have my extended warrenty with it another 10k and it's done
My dealers is the type to not replace it if it isn't broken
Trucks mods are a a Upd magnaflow exhaust gibson header <i didn't know anybetter when i bought them> hypertech prog.
I need to find the easiest way to blow it up ..
that will require little effort
I have ls1 edit but no extra vin for the 99

I think either of those things will work. Definitely remove all the aftermarket items first. Remember that the PCM captures a freeze-frame of all operating conditions when it sets off an SES light. So if you decide to bounce it off the revlimiter for 5 minutes in the parking lot to blow it, the PCM will record the rpms, speed, gear, etc when it lets go. It is guaranteed that the data will be checked when you have it taken in for warranty. It would also help to know someone in the dealer service dept.

Re: Help me blow my truck up
The trucks black box rules out gettin another VIN for my Edit and setting the rev limit at 6800rpms in first <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
the thing would sure Scream

You know if you put an escallade instrument cluster your miles will be 0..
Than way when you need to take it in for warrenty work you just swap the old cluster in and use up the warrenty till the years on it run out.

Re: Help me blow my truck up
They are actually 41 lbs I got them from RC engineering they weren't cheap
But they are direct drop in
you've got a procharger too ?The stock injectors just won't provide enough fuel
they were pretty easy to tune in with ls1 edit
My truck was way lean in the upper rpm's before them
