I don't think that I heard a whole lot of difference with my LT's and catted y-pipe either...maybe a little louder but not enough to knock me off my seat.

No they don't. The OBX has resonators aka dummy cats.

Huh I dont understand. But once obx with high flow cat. It look like cat but really no cat inside and it should sounds good? You mean resonator sounds loud? I got confused. I just want to spend 500 dollars plus 30 for ship. That which I would accpet it. You think obx header cat is no good? I need to know before I buy it. I know pacematter with y pipe kinda expensive to have high flow cat to put in. But OBX already have one.

If you want a promise to pass smog, then leave the truck alone. High flow aftermarket cats dont clean up as well as stock ones do, so there is no promise that they will pass in any case. Most people do, and some dont, no matter how great the tune is.

With the OBX headers and Y pipe (no cats, they have resonators) thru my stock catback and 22" magnaflow it sounded really good. I'd best describe it as "smooth"

I got it. I guess ahead buy OBX. I am pretty sure Nelson performance will do very good tune to make emission pass with no worry. I run premuim 93 ontace all the time.
