or a t56, i despise autos too.. i wish i had the 5 speed... a t56 would definitely be in my trucks future if that were the case

Just take the oil pan off, and change them one at a time. Simple, but tedious. The only hard part is getting to the oil pan. I had to take a crossmember off. The directions will tell you how to torque them.

Teh 4.8 will hang with 7k shifts. It would be the trans I would worry about.

That cam won't have the vreath to make it that high though. 6600 would be more reasonable for a cam that high.

I've been spinning my 5.3 to 7k for some time now. Rev limiter is at 7200.
