volant is fine for the intake, out of the exhausts listed i would go with the corsa, but i would take a look at B&B billy boat exhaust i like their sound better

as for tuning get the diablo predator handheld tuner i hear its the best of the handhelds

an intake exhaust and computer programmer will really wake up that silverado, and are you not going to mod the sierra

Ok guys I have Ordered these items

@. Volant Air Intake Kit With Box + Ram tube + Cleaner Kit + Filter Wrap

@. DiabloSport Predator tuner

@. B&B Exhaust System

I only have to wait for them to ship and install them

So i need about 3 weeks

im also thinking about Gibson Headers

but not for now i might think about it after 2 - 3 months

For NOW i will start to mod the look and style of my trucks

The most imoprtant things are:

- The SS rims for the silverado

- Roll Pan rear bumper for both of them

- Fog lights for the silverado ( i have for the sierra )

- and i will look for something nice to cover the " Trunk " i dont really know what it's called ( also for the silverado ) i have one for my Seirra which i made it by my self and it looks very nice. but for thr silverado im thinking of faiberglass

- and also i will do some painting for some parts of the Front. ( also 4 the silverado because my sierra is alright and i dont need to paint anything )

if anyone can help with these things i will really approciate it

i might post a new Thread for this

Thanks for all the repling

and thank u all for ur help

great choices on the performance mods so far... but i advise against the gibson headers or any shortey type header, they claim amazing gains but they dont deliver...if you dont have emissions testing where you are i suggest pacesetter long tube headers and and off road ypipe, but if you do have emissions testing where you are take a look at the dynatech header system - they utilize hi-flow cats in their design to keep u legal

oh and the header system or headers and ypipe will bolt up to your catback

you might also look at a higher rpm stall torque converter if you dont tow a lot, and remember - a set of gears will make a very noticeable difference

now im just throwing out ideas for performance now but you could do spark plugs and wires and install some electric fans and underdrive pulleys to free up a little extra hp and tq and then that would be about all that you could do without tearing in to the internals of the engine or adding a supercharger or turbo of nitrous with what mods you have now

oh and dont let anyone con you into buying a throttle body spacer - they produce NO gains on these motors - Gen III chevrolet v8

a cam and valve springs will help ALOT but i think i remember you saying that you didnt want to change the internals on the motor?

i hope this helps and happy modding
