i just looked at your initial post and saw that you have a manual tranny, instead of a stall you might look at the Hurst shifter i hear its a nice choice

and with the power you will be producing the stock clutch will be fine and if you have any questions about it ask scrapin4.8 he has posted lots of info about it on here

as far as the appearance goes it is called a tonneau cover that covers the bed/trunk, and i would like to see some pics of the tonneau cover and actually the two trucks while your at it...

i just saw some ss rims on ebay but you can find them lots of places

see stylin concepts for the roll pans - i prefer steel myself

i dont know about foglights on the silverado you got me on that one unless you go with a different front bumper cuz the stock ones dont put out much light IMO

i heard that when painting the pieces on the front the paint will start fallin off in about 1-2 years so i would suggest a SS bumper cover in front and it may be cheaper than sanding the stock pieces and then painting them and i agree the front of the sierra looks fine

yea if we go much farther with the appearance, the mods may make us start another thread in the Show & Shine section

oh and the header system or headers and ypipe will bolt up to your catback

you might also look at a higher rpm stall torque converter if you dont tow a lot, and remember - a set of gears will make a very noticeable difference

now im just throwing out ideas for performance now but you could do spark plugs and wires and install some electric fans and underdrive pulleys to free up a little extra hp and tq and then that would be about all that you could do without tearing in to the internals of the engine or adding a supercharger or turbo of nitrous with what mods you have now

oh and dont let anyone con you into buying a throttle body spacer - they produce NO gains on these motors - Gen III chevrolet v8

a cam and valve springs will help ALOT but i think i remember you saying that you didnt want to change the internals on the motor?

i hope this helps and happy modding
thank u very much nightrunner

u helped me alot with my babies

i wish i can turn back anything

i might put a logo with ur name in the back

about the headers i dont really have any place to test it

So i guess i will go with pacesetter long tube headers.

will i wont think about headers right now

as i said i will think about them after 3 or maybe 4 months

about the other things i might do some of them from time to time. i dont want to do eerything one time. first to notice the different in the power and speed and second and most importantn $$$$$ i aslo dont want to gain alot of power because i know if i did the truck wont last 1 year

so step by step

thank u alot nightrunner. i really approciate it

i think this will be a long-term Goal

as i said i dont have $$$$$ and i want to go step by step so that i dont cut my budget

i will also have to know alot about them before doing anything

because i said many times we dont have any specialies in such fields and if i faced any problem with them i dont know what will i do

anyway thanks

u just opened my eyes to something new

I can buy foglights from here. i dont really want to change my front bumber. i know that the ss looks better. my brother is trying to change my mind he said that he will buy the whole body kit 4 me. but i dont know i dont feel like changing them. at least not 4 now.

i wanted to buy the same as these rims from the GM campany here in Qatar

and the told me it cost about $ 2200 with the center cap only the rims w/ the cap not the tires

i really like these rims

they are the factory rims for 2000 and 2001 silverado as i guess

but i thought hell No im not buying these. $ 2200 the are toooo expensive.

thats why i think the SS rims are really cheap

and im sure there is something wrong either with the price or i think that each rim cost $900 So 4 * 900 = $3600

i hop this is not right

those wheels are only standard LS wheels from 99-02 silverado...

i could probably get takeoffs at junkyard for +- $500 wheels only with center caps no tires... your dealer is takin you for a ride

if you keep an eye out you might be able to find them on here... most guys use these to mount their slicks on

and you do know the LS rims are 16x8 and the ss rims are 20x8.5

on the ebay purchase that would be 900 for the set of 4 and they are chrome reproductions not bad but cheaper so not stock cause stock are a flat gray silver

look for pics of silver6.0 -a member on here to see originals

and i dont think too many people buy the ls wheels from the factory.. and now i know why....

not having to have emissions testing is a great thing

the pacesetters will provide more horsepower?-questionable and are cheaper
