Help! Pacesetter LT clearance issue

Well I have tried everything: Grinding a little on the control arm mount, flattening out the header with a hammer, cussing, yelling. Nothing is working. These headers are not made for my truck, and unfortunately, nobody makes headers to fit this type of frame. Now its onto more drastic measures. I put my old header back on so that I can drive the truck, and tommorow I am gonna go over to my buddies shop to see what we can do to modify them and make them fit. I'm probably gonna try heating them up about midway up the tubes so that I can bend them enough to clear the frame. I dont yet know about the other side. Who knows, maybe they will clear. I'll keep you updated, but damn this is such a bitch.

LT's are on. I had to cut so much **** to make them fit its not even funny. Gonna go back on friday to my buddies shop to reinforce the lower A arm mount on the frame and the upper control arm mount on the pasenger side, which I had to cut to make them fit.

Well, I just got done reinforcing the mounts for the upper and lower A arms. I still need to take the headers off one more time so that I can grind a little more to ensure there is sufficient room for exhaust flex. In every regard, and with everything I have done to my truck, its always somehow a pain in the *** to modify it because its not a 1500 and its not a true HD. The good news is I have longtubes now, but the bad news is that if you have a truck like mine, prepare to do some serious fabrication to make them fit.

My Hooker lt's are a pretty good fit but the rattle when I start because the truck was in an accident and it hits the bars... All I need to do is take it down and bend it back but I'm just to damn lazy!
