Default Help! Plug wire removal.

Okay this probably sounds stupid. But how in the heck do I get the dang plug wires off so I can remove the plugs? I assumed that they would just pull off but this does not seem to be the case. The little heat shroud thing I think is holding them up somehow? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin

Grab the metal heat shield and pull really hard, use some pliers if you need to. It all comes off as 1 piece.

No problem dude. When I pulled mine off and the whole thing came off I was like WTF I broke it, but I figured out that they are supposed to be like that. Let me know how the back passenger side (#5?) plug goes. Mine was a pain in the @$$ took like 20-30 minutes.

It wasn't too bad. Other than the fact that my truck now has skin on miscellaneous parts in the engine compartment, everything went okay. I put the ratchet on it with a swivel on it and was able to put a tad of an angle on the wrench with a two inch extension it came out fine. I had it out and back in within 5 min. Once I knew what to pull on to get the plugs out everything went okay. I am a bad mechanic

Thanks again for the help.
