yea up the compression they are 243 heads i believe just milled... oh and go with a tbss intake

that would set you around 415-420 hp or in that ballfield

^The PRC "5.3heads are indeed 5.3/4.8 castings ..not 243 which are ls6/ls2

any year Lq9 (Vortec max,Silv SS,Escalade)
-Prc Stage 2.5 ls6 Heads
-Tr224 cam
-ls7 lifters
-arp rod bolts
-current bolt-ons
the compression would also be raised with this combo,as 317 heads have a 72cc chamber to the 243's mid 60's 64.xx??

Yep..the LS1 guys use them for the smaller cc chamber to up compression without having to mill the head..they are better suited for 3.9xx bore and below..the 243/317 heads are better for 4.0xx bore imo

What kinda power would I expect with that above setup ribeiro?

I read about the ls7 lifter being the new design, but what's the benefit? Efficency?

Its hard to say for sure but the motor itself should make north of 450 hp...The main thing is you would build it with proven off the shelf parts..If you are concerned with making big numbers and want to spend some dough than get some Trickflows and a big Patg spec'd cam with a LSXrt intake...
-The ls7 lifters are capable of higher spring loads and rpm's..for the price they are hard to beat...and dumb not to replace

If you can find one used..I was debating it, but my truck runs real good with the truck intake/ported 78mm tbody..put it this way ..If I dropped the coin on a set of TF's...I would buy a Fast intake/92mm tbody..wouldnt feel like I was getting the most out of the combo..if I diddn't...but they sure do look good..lol
