Help..Spark plug stripped out...what to do?

I know mine was less than 10$.... I've even helicoiled a converter bolt hole...

just a tip for ya, loc-tite that bitch in there... dont want it backing out or loosening up on ya.

Loc-Tite on a spark plug thread? I've never heard of a spark plug coming loose. Mine are always hard to get out.

Aluminum threads tend to "gall" real easily, which is probably what happened to the bad hole. I would be afraid that Loc-Tite would increase the tendency to gall. I've always been told that anti seize compound is what is recommended for steel screws into aluminum threads. Motorcycle mechanics swear by it.

get a helicoil kit! . . . the helicoil is self locking. Meaning after you chase the threads with the larger than stock tap, it locks it self in there. Then put some anti seize on the spark plug threads, no bigger than a small rain drop.

i'm pretty sure he meant put locktite on the insert, not the plug
