help!! wheel hop problem

Default help!! wheel hop problem

All of a sudden my truck has a nasty case of wheel hop even in the rain.The truck is a 99 rclb 4.8 5spd,with 4.10's,G80 and 245/75R16 tires.Any help would be great.

Gald I'm not the only one. I wanna get a set of CalTrac's but it's a little out of my budget at the moment.

I wish I could,but the autotrac was not offered with the 5spd.

Try lowering rear tire pressure a little. I dunno if that will help or not, but I think I saw someone said doing this would. Worth a shot ...

you can make your own traction bar by drilling a hole in the over load spring and installing a bolt. not the best way but it works. my cal tracs work great.

CalTracs helped me out! Truck sticks good now!
