Sorry. Indeed I did not give all of my pertinant info. I have JBA headers, and of course the Radix, and stock piping with the 18 inch Magnaflow muffler.

A 22 inch dual in / out magnaflow would be fine, but I'm not sure how much quieter it would be.
I'm running a flopro dual 3 in / single 3 out. Its very quiet on the freeway above 1800 rpms. Under that, its louder than stock, but no where near as loud as a flowmaster. Most of my low rpm noise is from the ASM headers, no cats, and full 3" pipe back to the muffler. If the front of my exhaust were stock, it would be just a bit louder than stock. The flopro is big and heavy.
Another option is to *** another small muffler somewhere in the exhaust system. Many guys use the dynomax race bullet muffler as a resonator to take the edge off the tone. That might remove just enough for your wife to be happy, without kiling performance.
