I run a dual in dual out original equip muffler off a 2002 Lightning. Several of those guys are making 500hp through stock exhaust so I think it flows decent. It has a decent sound but is not loud at all (it is a stock muffler, after all) and it has zero resonance. I just hate having Ford parts on my truck-injectors are Ford too : (

You might want to try the 22"er and an x pipe. You could get the magnaflow that has the internal x pipe. I am pretty sure I have the 18"er and I know it has the internal x pipe and its quite nice actually. No drone and has a med to low tone and gets a real good sound when you get on it.

I just put a 18'' bullet before each muffler on mine and it cut the exhaust noise in about half. To quiet it down even more im going to get rid of the flows and put on a set of hooker maximum flows.

My two 11" magnaflows are quieter than my old single in dual out Dynomax. That's running through ASM's.

So perhaps just putting an 18" bullet will do the trick? Another exhaust shop in town is now trying to tell me that a Flo Pro will be much quieter....Doh!

Thanks for all the suggestions to everyone.

I think the Corsa "Sport"(?) system is LOUD LOUD LOUD.

The B&B I have on the SS here is pretty mellow in general.

It's a pretty angry sounding with the windows up. It's very apparent when you have your foot on the gas, no matter how light it is. The stock Bose radio at like, 3 digital-notches up, drowns out the exhaust noise. (that's still a relatively low volume setting)

With the windows down at like, 40mph, it's rather hard to hear. With the radio on at all, you'll never hear it.

I'll try to get some more soundclips, if wanted.

The bullet will only costs around $35.00 at summit racing. It really made a big difference at idle and cruising down the freeway, wide open its still loud.

I have been thinking about putting two Dynomax Bullet 12” mufflers before my magnaflow muffler. For me at 70 mph it is just to much cab noise.
