why not get in touch with [ Patrick G ] <--- thats his SN. and get a custom cam specd for your set-up...
fee inst to bad and you get what you pay for..

Alright backing up a bit. I just ordred Thunder Racing Custom Ground Camshaft - 224/224-112, Got a NX kit plate kit from a buddy, so hopefully the combo with cam work out. Stock intake kinda bothers me though. Im pushing all this in and out with the tune and stall but not taking anything in with a stock intake. There is an intake k&n filter but no real intake talk wise. Like fast or larger throttle body. Im wondering how it will run after the tune with what i have one the way and once i bolt everything on. BTW, whats the best none mail order tuner i can go and buy???

That means you need to find a tuner that tunes you truck personally, you should find a local Dyno shop that can do it.

Are you trying to figure out what intake manifold or cold air intake to run? If I were you I would run a TBSS/NBS intake manifold with a 90mm TB. CAI is pretty much personal preference. The TBSS injectors might even flow enough for your setup. A 3600 stall should work well with that cam.

Thanks for all the help guys.
Well here we go the tear down begain tonight.
Pulled off the factory manifolds, getting ready for the long tubes header install
The cam will be here on friday, tearing down the front end tomorrow for that install.
Then installing the nx plate kit on the stock intake manifold. Leaving stock injetctors too, only going to spray a 100 shot. Should be ok fuel wise for now I hope. While the front end is torn down im getting rid of the factory fan and going to install efans aswell, i think that a savy move on my part. haha.
3800 tight stall ordered hoping to install in the next two weeks.
Then with the rear end, factory ten bolt, installing 4:56 gears, and posi.
Still havent figured out the tune yet. But it will be a custom tune, EGR delete and cat delete. Am i missing anything for what im running, i want to take the correct order to take place and for the truck to run and drive correctly.

As for exhaust, true duals, still looking for advice on pipe size / length and what tiny mufflers to run? Should i run dual 2 1/2 piping? Then some shorty race flowmasters???
Besides performance i want it to sould good too. Dump them at the end of the cab or run the pipe to the rear?

Thanks again guys.
Mike.

Go with 3" pipe, magnaflow mufflers, an x or crossover pipe and some 3" cut outs. I've got 2.5" and they're loud.

Im ok with stock heads and the 224/224/ 112 cam correct? Thunder racing doesnt mention much about head work with the cam, just a 3600 stall.

You're gonna wanna get some new valve springs with that cam, some Patriot Gold's or Double Beehives would probably suit you just fine
