You don't need that much converter with a TR224 in a 5.3, 3200-3400 will cut it, 3400 would probably be best. Don't need that much gear or exhaust either...I haven't read the whole thread, but everything seems matched together except the cam. I like the cam though, if it's a street truck at all the specs are just a hair bigger than I'd like, but hey it's not my truck lol. Keeping the cam as a constant, I'd do a 3400 converter, 4.10-4.30 gears, and single 3" or dual 2.5" exhaust. Just my .02

As for the cam thread i started a couple months ago thats what i was not told, with the guys running the same cam. So i adjusted and took there advice.
Thanks, everything is installed already. I can break the stall at 3200 and flash it a 4000k.

Im happy with the out come so far.

Well then, enjoy! I'm sure that it will run like a raped ape, especially out of the hole...curious to see how it does at the end of the track

I installed the locker, but im keeping the factory 373s, i think the 456 gears might be to deep for my mild setup. I want to take it one step at a time.

Sounds good, I agree that the 4.56's will be steep for your setup. You could always sell them (if you already have them) and step up to some 4.10's or even 4.30's like I mentioned in my post above.
